In his speech Prof. Mas’ud Said, the Professor of Government Science, stated the reason why he invited the Human Resources Development Agency of East Java Province as the invited speaker.

One of the reasons is because the two distinctions of Masters in Management  are Change Management and Organizational Management. There is a lattice of human resource development in its distinction. “We are now living in the coordination and collaboration era“, he concluded.

Meanwhile, the rector of Unisma, Prof. Dr. Maskuri, reminded that management is an aspect receiving a considerable attention by Islam. One of them, if we have a debt, Allah ordered us to write a note of the debt. This is evidence of Islamic attention to management aspects.

After welcoming speech, it was continued by signing the Cooperation Agreement (PKS) between the Masters in Management Study Program and the Human Resources Development Agency of East Java Province. This Cooperation Agreement  is a follow-up to the MoU between Unisma and the East Java Provincial Government.

Aries Agung Paewai explained material entitled “Developing superior human resources to face industry 5.0”. One of the industry’s most powerful challenges is disruption. Disruption threatens unprepared people for major change.

In the beginning of his explanation,  the head of the East Java Human Resources Development Agency stated that the collaboration was to save the national economy. All lines work hand in hand to deal with the pandemic. We have to wake up together so that people’s lives interact with their respective economies; how community can perform business transaction  with banks.

The major changes that occurred as a result of this disruption resulted in changes in the employment sector. Now most of the jobs have been automated.
