Unisma’s Master of Management Program Holds PSQA Self-Evaluation for Study Program

Master program in Management at Universitas Islam Malang, in collaboration with Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Brawijaya, held an event to implement a postgraduate grant program from the Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education using the PSQA self-evaluation instrument at Unisma postgraduate building. The program featured speakers from the grant management team at FEB Brawijaya University and was attended by faculty members from Master of Management Program and Faculty of Economics at Universitas Islam Malang, including 22 participants.

The Head of Master in Management Program delivered opening remarks at the workshop on improving the quality of postgraduate programs

The objective of this program is to facilitate the implementation of study program self-evaluation for postgraduate programs using Program Standards and Quality Assurance (PSQA) instruments. Additionally, it aims to promote quality improvement in postgraduate study programs based on self-evaluation. It is hoped that the implementation of PSQA will enhance the quality of graduates from postgraduate study programs.

The PSQA program consisted of three sessions held in the Meeting Room of Postgraduate Building at Universitas Islam Malang. First, on Wednesday–Thursday, September 4–5, 2019, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM WIB, featuring speakers from the Grant Management Team of Brawijaya University’s Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB), namely: 1. Dr. Dra. Sumiati, M.Si 2. Sri Palupi Prabandari, SE., MM., Ph.D. 3. Dr. Sigit Purnomo, SE., M.Sc. The session produced a Semester Learning Plan Output based on Graduate Learning Outcomes and Course Learning Outcomes.

Second, Wednesday–Thursday, October 16–17, 2019, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. WIB, featuring speakers from the Grant Management Team at Brawijaya University’s Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB), namely: 1. Prof. Dr. Noermijati, SE., MM 2. Devanto Shasta Pratomi, SE., M.Si., Ph.D. The session produced a draft proposal for research and community service projects

Third, Thursday–Friday, October 17–18, 2019, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. WIB, featuring speakers from the Grant Management Team of Brawijaya University’s Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB), namely: 1. Setyo Tri Wahyudi, SE., MEc., Ph.D. 2. Devanto Shasta Pratomi, SE., M.Si., Ph.D. The session resulted in a draft scientific article to be published in a national or international journal. (RED/AL/PPS)
