The Rector of Universitas Islam Malang has called on Postgraduate Program graduates to demonstrate genuine competitiveness within society. Prof. Dr. H. Maskuri, M.Si, delivered the message at the graduation send-off ceremony held at Abdurrahman Wahid Hall, 7th floor, Ali bin Abi Tholib Building.
The Professor of Islamic Education noted that the Postgraduate Program’s achievements have continued to climb over the past two years, adding that this progress should be matched by graduates who prove their competitiveness in the workplace and in society at large.

Ahead of the Rector’s remarks, Prof. M. Mas’ud Said, MM., M.Pd, delivered the graduate report. This send-off ceremony honored 116 graduates from the 2019/2020 academic year’s odd semester.
Following the Rector’s address, Deputy Director I, Dr. H. Nur Fajar Arief, M.Pd, announced the top graduates from each study program, with university leadership presenting awards to recognize their achievement.
Twelve students were named top graduates in total. Three came from the Multicultural Islamic Education Doctoral Program: Dr. Sauqi Futaqi, Dr. Irmawan Jauharim, and Dr. Muhammad Hifdil Islam, followed by one top graduate from each master’s program.

The top master’s graduates included Gusfarisa Rafika Putri, M.Pt (Master’s in Animal Husbandry), Emy Zuroidah, M.Pd (Master’s in Indonesian Language), Tri Nuzulia Nurhuda, M.Pd (Master’s in English Language Education), Ach. Jalaluddin Ar Rumi, M.H (Master’s in Islamic Family Law), Agus Santoso, M.Kn (Master’s in Notary Law), Azrul Azwar Wailissa, M.A.P. (Master’s in Public Administration), Muhammad Amin, MM (Master’s in Management), Hasan Bari, MH (Master’s in Law), and Aris Ahmad (Master’s in Islamic Religious Education).
