“Therefore, it is a very good decision for students to choose studying at Unisma. Our campus is currently one of the best in Indonesia, ranked 44th nationally, and is the top-ranked private university in the country. Soon, Unisma’s postgraduate program will also sign an agreement with Al-Azhar University,” Prof. Mas’ud stated proudly.

“We will bring the prestige of Al-Azhar to East Java, specifically to Unisma,” he emphasized again.

The Professor of Social Sciences and Public Administration also noted that the theme presented this time is highly relevant to the increasingly advanced era we live in today. He also expressed gratitude to Ms. Lidya for taking the time to join the students.

“The theme chosen and the guest invited this time are truly outstanding. Marketing Innovation will remain relevant for as long as we need it. Therefore, let’s participate in this event wholeheartedly,” he said.

Marketing Innovation

Following Prof. Mas’ud’s opening remarks, Ms. Lidya then had the opportunity to share her career journey and experiences over more than ten years working at various companies, starting from a Customer Service role and eventually rising to the position of General Manager.

“The point is, if someone asks you to take on a new position, it means your superiors can see the hidden potential within you. That’s where you’ll eventually shine. The key is to just go for it and have confidence,” concluded Ms. Lidya.

She also emphasized that one must constantly cultivate personal value, as what we sell is a reflection of ourselves. “Align yourself with the people you wish to meet. The key to becoming a skilled marketer is not just to sell products, but to build as many friendships as possible so that others feel comfortable being friends with you,” she concluded.
