Three doctoral students in Multicultural Islamic Education undertook their open dissertation examinations today (05/02). The students from West Kalimantan were Supriyadi, S.Ag., M.Pd.I., Muhammad Rabuddin, S.Pd.I., M.Pd., and Ali Aspar, S.Pd., M.Si.
Promovendus Supriyadi presented the results of his research entitled “The Relationship between Strengthening the Values of the Pancasila Student Profile and Harmonious Attitudes: An Ethnographic Study from the Perspective of Multicultural Islamic Education at SMP Negeri 1 Sukadana, North Kayong.”
Promovendus Muhammad Rabuddin presented his dissertation entitled “The Acculturation of Multicultural Islamic Education Values into the Robo-Robo Culture in Kuala Secapah, West Kalimantan.” Robo-robo is a unique tradition that has undergone Islamisation, transforming it into an Islamic cultural practice.

Promovendus Ali Aspar defended his dissertation entitled “Interaction Patterns in the Learning Process of Multicultural Islamic Religious Education to Foster Peaceful Living at SMP Negeri 4 Sukadana, West Kalimantan.”
The open examinations were conducted before a panel of seven examiners, including Prof. Drs. Junaidi, M.Pd., Ph.D., Prof. M. Mas’ud Said, M.M., Prof. Dr. Imam Suprayogo, Prof. Dr. Maskuri, M.Si., Prof. Dr. Djunaidi Ghony, Prof. Dr. Nur Syam, M.Si., and Prof. Dr. Yakub Cikusin, M.Si. Specifically for the examination of Promovendus Ali Aspar, Dr. Abdul Jalil, M.Pd., served as an examiner in place of Prof. Yakub.
Supriyadi and Ali Aspar were declared to have passed with a very satisfactory distinction. All three candidates are entitled to use the doctoral title following the official yudisium. Congratulations to the graduates, whose achievements are expected to inspire other students to remain motivated in completing their dissertations.
