Postgraduate Program of Universitas Islam Malang welcomed a visit and courtesy call from the Ma’arif Institute of Islamic Studies (IAIM) NU Metro Lampung. The delegation was received in Hall Abdurrahman Wahid on the 7th floor of postgraduate building.
Director of Unisma’s Postgraduate Program, Prof. M. Masud Said, Ph.D., welcomed the goodwill visit warmly. The director introduced several program heads who were present during the visit.

Director of IAIM NU’s Postgraduate Program, Subandi MM, expressed his delight that he could study at Univeristas Islam Malang. He asked for prayers so that IAIM NU Metro Lampung can develop into Universitas Maarif NU Metro Lampung.
IAIM NU’s journal has developed IGCJ journal, which has achieved Scopus indexing. Subandi MM hopes that Unisma lecturers will support the process so that the index and QR code can be issued this year.

Deputy Director 1 of Unisma Postgraduate Program, Dr. Nur Fajar Arief, M.Pd, stated that Unisma’s postgraduate program could establish strategic collaborations with IAIM NU Metro Lampung. Several study programs can be collaborated on between these two campuses, enabling them to jointly enhance the academic performance of campus.
Deputy Director of Unisma Postgraduate Program, Dr. Rulam Ahmadi, M.Pd, stated that he presented the institutional management and infrastructure available at Unisma Postgraduate Program. This man, a native of Sumenep, stated that the established teamwork makes work more effective and efficient.

Before the event concluded, students and faculty members from IAIM NU expressed interest in inquiring about postgraduate studies at Unisma. Among them were Ms. Husnul Khotimah and Mr. Syaiful. (AL/PPS)
