UNISMA Postgraduate Program Holds a Sharing Session with Lazis Sabilillah

Malang, November 8, 2023 – Postgraduate Program at Universitas Islam Malang (UNISMA) held a sharing session with Lazis Sabilillah Malang. This activity aimed to discuss and share knowledge regarding the management of humanitarian funds, which is a crucial aspect of providing care and community development.

UNISMA Postgraduate Program raised social funds that will be used to help those in need, particularly underprivileged communities in the surrounding area. This initiative focuses not only on fundraising but also on effective and efficient ways to utilize these funds for humanitarian purposes.

This sharing session was attended by leaders, faculty members, and staff of UNISMA’s Postgraduate Program. The event was well-facilitated by Deputy Director 2, Dr. Rulam Ahmadi, who then gave the floor to the Director of UNISMA’s Postgraduate Program to explain the rationale behind this humanitarian fund management initiative.

During the session, they provided participants with important information that social funds can be transferred to the official UNISMA Postgraduate account at Bank Jatim Syariah, account number 6142300100, under the name “Dana Sosial Kemanusiaan Pasca.”

Also present at the event was a team from Lazis Sabilillah, led by Dr. Abdul Adzim Irsyad, Lc., M.A., as the Chairman of Lazis Sabilillah. The team consisted of several members, including Mochammad Sholeh, AP., Yosman Ardiyansyah, S.Sos, Malik Handika, S.Pd, and Egi Dwi Kusuma, ST. Ustadz Adzim shared insights regarding the various social services carried out by Lazis Sabilillah.

Dr. Abdul Adzim Irsyad, Lc., M.A., explained that the Sabilillah Foundation is committed to assisting the community through various social programs, such as the Mosque Cooperative, Lazis, Clinics, Orphanages, as well as the development of mosques and musallas around the Sabilillah Mosque. They also place special emphasis on developing Quranic study centers (TPQ) and Quran recitation improvement programs for the surrounding community.
