Pasuruan, July 1, 2023 – The Head of Master in Notarial Studies (MKn) Program at Universitas Islam Malang (Unisma), Dr. Sunardi, SH., M.Hum, participated in a family gathering and tumpeng cutting ceremony to commemorate the 115th anniversary of the Indonesian Notary Association (INI). The event was held at Taman Dayu Golf and Resort in Pasuruan by the INI East Java board.
Notaria Fest 2023, as the event was titled, was a memorable moment for notaries throughout East Java, extraordinary members (ALB), and emeritus notaries along with their families. The event featured various activities such as a joint prayer, a reflection session, competitions, and entertainment.
INI has been in existence for 115 years, originating from the Dutch East Indies Government, based on the “Broederschap van Candidaat-Notarissen in Nederlanden zijne Kolonien” and the “Broederschap der Notarissen in the Netherlands,” and was recognized as a legal entity by Government Decree (Gouvernements Besluit) dated September 5, 1908, No. 9

“The presence of UNISMA’s Head of the Notary Studies Program at this event is a manifestation of our support and commitment to the activities carried out by the Indonesian Notary Association.”
“We hope that through this event, the bonds among notaries will grow stronger and more solid, thereby contributing positively to the development of the notary profession in Indonesia,” said Dr. Sunardi.
The family gathering also provided an opportunity for participants to share experiences, knowledge, and innovations in notarial practice. Through this gathering, it is hoped that there will be a constructive exchange of ideas and the creation of strong synergy among notaries in East Java.

On this occasion, the Head of Unisma’s MKn Program also expressed appreciation to the INI East Java board for successfully organizing this event. He hopes similar activities can be held in the future to strengthen bonds and cooperation among notaries across Indonesia.
Dr. Sunardi, SH., M.Hum stated that this event also serves to expand the network of Unisma’s Master’s Program in Notarial Studies. Through this extensive network, prospective students will have no hesitation in enrolling in Unisma’s MKn program.
