In effort to improve the quality of education at UNISMA Postgraduate Program, various strategies have been implemented. The program is also focusing on expanding its student body. MOU-based partnership development is the primary strategy being pursued.
This morning (July 6), UNISMA’s postgraduate program, specifically the Notary Program and the Master of Law Program, signed an MOU with the East Java Regional Board of IPPAT (Isye K. Syakur, MH) and Arema Media Group (Himawan Sh., MH).
The event, held at the Postgraduate Building, was attended by the Director (Prof. H. M. Mas’ud Said, MM., Ph.D.); Deputy Director 1 (Dr. H. Nur Fajar Arif, M.Pd.); and Deputy Director 2 (Dr. Rulam Ahmadi, M.Pd.). Other attendees included the Director of Jawa Pos Malang Raya, the Director of City Guide FM, MKn students, and the executive board of IPAT Regional Chapters of Malang Regency, Batu, and Malang City.

According to the Head of Notary Studies Program, Dr. Sunardi, SH., M. Hum., who stated in his opening remarks that the outcomes of this MoU signing ceremony will serve as one of the foundations for developing the curriculum of Master’s Program in Notary Studies and the Master’s Program in Law. Additionally, course materials, feedback from students, and input from stakeholders will also be utilized for curriculum development in Notary Studies Program and Master’s Program in Law.
According to Isye K., that lecturers from IPPAT who will be sent are truly qualified. By involving these notaries, it is hoped that they can provide students with knowledge and practical experience, so that future graduates will be able to directly apply their knowledge in society.

The CEO of Arema Media Group expressed his support for UNISMA’s Postgraduate Program to publish ideas and news through various online media. UNISMA is increasingly demonstrating an aura that signifies extraordinary change and progress.
The Director of UNISMA’s Postgraduate Program, Prof. H. M. Mas’ud Said, MM., Ph.D., emphasized in his remarks, “We live in an era of information and collaboration. We must work hard and collaborate because it is a demand of the times for change and progress. Advances in ICT have given rise to the concept of a World-Class University. University curricula are also undergoing changes. Each program no longer stands alone but must incorporate other disciplines, known as a multidisciplinary curriculum.”
This MoU signing for the Notary Program serves as a breath of fresh air to boost student enrollment. The challenge now lies in how this program is managed and developed in order to remain a reference point and attract people interested in the Notary Program and the Master of Law program.
