Signing of MoU and Joint Seminar in Collaboration with UNISLA Postgraduate Program

Signing of MoU and Joint Seminar on “Prospects for Islamic Education Research in Community Development” in collaboration with Postgraduate Program of Universitas Islam Malang (UNISMA) and Postgraduate Program of Universitas Islam Lamongan (UNISLA).

This event was held on the 7th floor of Usman Bin Affan Building and attended by Postgraduate Director (Prof. H. M. Mas’ud Said, MM., Ph.D.); Deputy Director 1 (Dr. H. Nur Fajar Arif, M.Pd.); and Deputy Director 2 (Dr. Rulam Ahmadi, M.Pd.). Several KPS members from UNISMA and UNISLA Postgraduate programs were also present.

Prof. H. Junaidi, M.Pd., Ph.D., serving as Vice Rector 1, also attended to represent the UNISMA Rector at the MOU signing ceremony. In his remarks, Prof. Junaidi stated, “UNISMA and UNISLA have maintained a very close relationship.

Currently, family ties within the higher education institutions under the Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) will be formalized through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU).

MOU signing by UNISMA and UNISLA aims to realize the three pillars of higher education: education, research, and community service.

This MOU signing was particularly significant, as during the event, three individuals from UNISLA registered for the Doctoral Program in Multicultural Islamic Education.
