On Thursday, August 6, 2020, UNISMA Postgraduate Program overhauled its curriculum during an information session titled “Curriculum Overhaul for Unisma’s ‘Kampus Merdeka’ Postgraduate Program.” This represents a productive initiative in a disruptive era, even amid the current pandemic.

The overhaul was carried out to improve the quality of postgraduate education in both master’s and doctoral programs. This reconstruction and overhaul of the curriculum is aimed at implementing the “Kampus Merdeka” initiative. In line with the vision of the Indonesian National Qualifications Framework (KKNI), Outcome-Based Education (OBE), Problem-Based Learning (PBL), the “Kampus Merdeka-Merdeka Belajar” (KM-MB) initiative, and IPTEK 4.0, as well as Distinctive Flagship Programs, Master’s and Doctoral Service Programs, and Flexible Learning Formats.
The Atmosphere of Curriculum Overhaul.
The curriculum overhaul, which took place in the 4th-floor meeting room of the Umar bin Khattab Building at Unisma, featured Unisma Rector Prof. Dr. H. Maskuri, M.Si, and Dr. H. Nur Fajar Arief, M.Pd, Deputy Director I of the Unisma Graduate School, as speakers during the outreach session.
The information session was attended by the Secretary of the Foundation, Drs. H. Mustangin, M.Pd, the Head of the Bureau of Academic Administration and Cooperation (BAAK), Ronny Malavia Mardani, MM; Dr. Nour Athiroh, M.Kes, as Chair of the Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM); Prof. H. Junaidi, Ph.D., First Vice Rector for Academic Affairs and Cooperation; and all Program Chairs within the Unisma Postgraduate Program. (NAD/AL/PPS)
