Prof. Mas’ud Explains BPD Ecosystem with NQA

Malang – Prof. M. Mas’ud Said, MM., Ph.D., explained BPD Ecosystem at the webinar titled “Regional Development Banks: Resilient, Innovative, and Contributive.” This webinar, held in collaboration with NQA Indonesia, shares the same title as a book recently published by Kompas last February.

Moderated by Novian Amrah Putra, CEO of NQA Indonesia, the event began precisely at 9:30 AM WIB. Prof. Mas’ud immediately followed with his presentation.

Prof. Masud outlined that there are at least five components of a Regional Development Bank (BPD), namely: Bank Directors, Controlling Shareholders, OJK, Objectives, and Content of Strategic Work. “These five components interact with one another, so every action taken by the bank must consider all aspects,” he emphasized.

The discussion was lively and engaging with participants. There were many participants: Mr. Budi, Mr. Alfon, Suwarto, Supriyanto, Aldo, and Galih. The discussion covered macro issues ranging from the challenges of geopolitical uncertainty and cybersecurity threats to banks, to the challenges of fraud targeting individuals.
