Madiun, August 15, 2023 – The Director of Master’s and Doctoral programs at Universitas Islam Malang (Unisma) postgraduate program continued a series of New Student Recruitment (PMB) tours to various regencies in East Java.
After previously visiting Lumajang and Banyuwangi Regencies, Unisma Postgraduate delegation arrived in Madiun Regency to foster collaboration with stakeholders in higher education.
During the visit on Tuesday, Unisma’s Head of Postgraduate Program was accompanied by the Director, Prof. H. Mas’ud Said, MM., Ph.D., and the Deputy Directors of the Graduate School, Dr. Nur Fajar Arief, M.Pd., and Dr. Rulam Ahmadi, M.Pd. Also present were the Head of the Madiun Branch of Bank Jatim and his delegation.
Warm Welcome from Madiun Regent
Unisma’s Postgraduate Program delegation was warmly received by Ahmad Dawami, S.Sos, the Regent of Madiun, affectionately known as Kaji Mbing. Also welcoming the visit was Heru Suncahyo, Head of the Madiun Regency Civil Service and Human Resource Development Agency (BKPSDM).
Regent Kaji Mbing expressed his appreciation for the university’s initiative to visit Madiun to collaborate with the local government. He hopes that cooperation between Madiun Regency and Unisma can continue to be strengthened, leading to the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Rector of Unisma.
In addition, Regent Kaji Mbing, who also serves as the Branch Coordination Unit (Satkorcab) of the Barisan Ansor Serbaguna (Banser) in Madiun Regency, expressed a desire to improve the quality of human resources in his region. Improving the qualifications of civil servants is one of the Local Government’s Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
On that occasion, the Head of the Graduate Program at Unisma presented a collaboration proposal facilitated by the Madiun Regency BKPSDM. We offer high-quality educational programs with accessible and dynamic learning methods for local government employees.
In front of the heads of personnel departments from all OPDs in Madiun Regency, the program head at Unisma introduced various study programs available in Unisma’s postgraduate program. In addition, they also offered various course mechanisms, financing options, and various opportunities to enhance competencies.
Unisma’s Postgraduate Program plans to continue its PMB outreach visits to several other regions as part of efforts to engage with the community and strengthen the student body at Unisma’s Postgraduate Program. (AL/PPS)
