The Postgraduate Program of Universitas Islam Malang extends its deepest and most heartfelt condolences on the passing of Director of Pesantren Kampus Ainul Yaqin, KH. Moh. Murtadlo Amin, M.HI.
He passed away at the age of 54, leaving behind a wife and two sons. Born in Lamongan on 8 May 1966, he drew his last breath on Thursday, 13 August 2020 at 13:05 WIB at a hospital in Kepanjen, following a single night of medical care.

Throughout his life, he was widely known as a warm, approachable, and deeply responsible individual. He served as a lecturer at a number of higher education institutions and held active roles in various organisations aligned with his areas of expertise. At the time of his passing, he was also serving as one of the Senior Guardians (Dewan Pengasuh) at Pesantren Gasek Malang.
On the very same day, the Postgraduate Program also lost a student, she is Nurul Islamiyatul Izzah, a third-semester student of the Master’s Program in Islamic Religious Education. Born on 4 August 1997, she passed away at the age of 23 following a period of treatment at RSUD Bangil, Pasuruan.
