Universitas Islam Malang’s Postgraduate Program is preparing its strategy for 2022/2023 academic year new student admissions (PMB), continuing to showcase Unisma’s latest achievements.

The meeting was held at East Java Studies Center room, brought together Postgraduate Director Prof. H. M. Mas’ud Said, MM., PhD, Deputy Directors I and II, study program heads, and all Postgraduate Program staff.

The Director urged the team to identify strategic approaches that will draw more prospective students to Unisma’s postgraduate programs.

In his remarks, Prof. Mas’ud Said stated: “For this admissions cycle, we are focusing on strengthening the Postgraduate Program’s website and social media, all managed professionally and with discipline.”

“Every leader and staff member should visit all our social media channels, including Instagram, Twitter, Telegram, Facebook, and YouTube, then like or subscribe. Everyone who comes to the office each day should visit the Postgraduate Program’s Instagram and Facebook pages and engage with likes or subscriptions. This is required of everyone,” he added.

The Director’s directive aims to broaden the reach of information on 2022/2023 admissions, with the hope that new student numbers will leap beyond last year’s figures.

He also stressed that every study program head must go into the field and partner with relevant institutions to recruit new students. “Whoever makes the most field visits will bring in the most prospective students,” Prof. Mas’ud Said said. The message appears to have inspired the program heads to launch admissions outreach tours across various regions without delay. (RA/AL/PPS)
