One of the key mandates of the Freedom to Learn – Independent Campus (Merdeka Belajar — Kampus Merdeka) policy issued by the Ministry of Education and Culture is the reorientation of “study hours.” The credit system (SKS), previously defined as “classroom hours,” has been redefined as “activity hours”, a shift that has driven comprehensive curriculum reconstruction across UNISMA’s Postgraduate Program.
Following six programs that had already commenced their curriculum reconstruction, three additional programs joined the process on 2 September 2020: Master’s Program in Notary (MKn), Master’s Program in Public Administration (MIA), and Master’s Program in Law (MIH).
Atmosphere of Meeting on the Reconstruction of the Notary Master’s Program Curriculum
The curriculum reconstruction meeting for MKn commenced at 08:00, chaired by Dr. Sunardi, SH., M.Hum., Head of the MKn Program. The meeting was attended by ten lecturers comprising MKn’s curriculum reconstruction team, along with three practicing notaries.

Meanwhile, the curriculum reconstruction meeting for MIA commenced at 09:00, chaired by Dr. Slamet Muchsin, M.Si., and attended by Deputy Directors I and II, Dr. Nur Fajar Arief, M.Pd. and Dr. Rulam Ahmadi, M.Pd. Also present were Dr. Rini Rahayu Kurniati, M.Si. and Dr. Afifuddin, M.Si. both members of the curriculum reconstruction team and serving concurrently as Dean and Deputy Dean III of the Faculty of Public Administratiion at Universitas Islam Malang.

For MIH, the meeting was held in the Lecture Room, 4th Floor, Ali bin Abi Thalib Building, chaired by Dr. Muhibbin, SH., M.Hum., Head of MIH Program, and attended by the full curriculum revitalisation team and the Quality Assurance Cluster for MIH. (NAD/AL/PPS)
