Three Days, Three Programs: UNISMA Postgraduate School Conducts Consecutive Internal Quality Audits

Over three consecutive days, 25, 26, and 27 August 2020 – Three study programs within the Postgraduate Program of Universitas Islam Malang underwent internal quality audits. The three programs audited were Master’s Program in Indonesian Language Education (MPBI), Master’s Program in Administrative Science (MIA), and Master’s Program in Notarial Law (MKn).

MIA Auditors and KPS After the Audit Was Completed

The internal audits were conducted by a Special Committee formed by the Quality Assurance Agency (Badan Penjaminan Mutu/BPM) of Universitas Islam Malang. Dian Novita W., S.Farm., M.Imun. and Achmad Bastomi, S.HI., MCMR served as auditors for MPBI. Artono Raharjo, ST., MT., Head of the Mechanical Engineering Study Program, and Dr. Ifit Novita Sari, S.Sos., M.Pd., a lecturer at the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, acted as auditors for MIA. For the MKn internal audit, Dr. Sumartono, MP., Head of Master’s Program in Animal Husbandry, and Dr. Imam Wahyudi Karimullah, SS., MA., Head of the Office of International Affairs, served as auditors.

All three audit sessions were held in their respective Program Head offices on the 2nd Floor of the Ali bin Abi Thalib Building. For reference, the Internal Quality Audit (AMI) is designed to serve several key objectives: to guarantee the quality of educational delivery in producing graduates who are competent, morally grounded, professional, responsible, self-developing, and competitive at both the national and international levels founded upon the principles of Ahlussunnah wal Jama’ah; to ensure the quality of research and community service in realising Universitas Islam Malang’s vision as a Research University; and to drive continuous improvement of the quality management system on the path toward becoming a world-class university.
