Master’s Program in English Language Education at Postgraduate of Universitas Islam Malang (UNISMA) is actively preparing the technical requirements needed to elevate its accreditation status. Among these preparations is the compilation of accreditation form documents (borang), discussed in a focused meeting held in the conference room of Ali bin Abi Thalib Building, 3rd Floor, on 5 June 2020 at 09:00 WIB.
Dr. Mutmainnah Mustofa, M.Pd., Head of Master’s Program in English Language Education, conveyed that a number of the required documents have already been prepared, while remaining documents need to be completed and converted into electronic format.
The Program Head distributed responsibility for completing the seven accreditation standards to designated Persons In Charge (PIC): Standard 1 to Prof. Junaidi Mistar, Ph.D. and Dr. Mutmainnah Mustofa, M.Pd.; Standard 2 to Dr. Dzul Fikri, M.Pd.; Standard 3 to Dr. Muhammad Yunus, M.Pd.; Standard 4 to Dr. Imam Wahyudi Karimullah, MA.; Standard 5 to Drs. Yahya Alaydrus, M.Pd.; Standard 6 to Dr. Rulam Ahmadi, M.Pd., assisted by Mr. Masyhuri; and Standard 7 to Dr. Alfan Zuhairi, M.Pd.
Also present at the meeting was Prof. M. Mas’ud Said, MM., Director of the UNISMA Postgraduate Program. He reminded attendees that the completion of these accreditation documents is a shared responsibility, one that serves to uphold and elevate the institution’s prestige and quality. The Professor of Administrative Science also stressed the need to streamline business processes for greater efficiency, calling for a clear delineation between collaborative and individual workloads.
The meeting also established several team layers, spanning both the postgraduate and university levels through to assessors from BAN-PT (the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education), underscoring that communication across all levels must run smoothly.

Several documents had been prepared in advance by Miftahul Arifin and Ahmad Ariadi, staff members of the Master’s Program in English Language Education.
