Webometrics Evaluation Indicators
According to the Webometrics Impact Rank website, there are three Webometrics evaluation indicators. The Webometrics ranking is based on three aspects: Visibility, Openness, and Excellence.
Visibility covers the content on the website and its impact. The evaluation uses the number of external links pointing to the institution’s web pages. Visibility data sources include Ahrefs and Majestic.
Openness covers the number of articles by faculty members and researchers that are cited. The data source for this assessment is Google Scholar. This assessment aspect carries a weight of only 10%.
Excellence covers the best scientific papers and articles held by the university. The data source for this assessment is Scimago, with a weight of 40%.

Workshop Materials
This workshop aims to improve Unisma’s Webometrics ranking. The current materials focus on content creation techniques, whether in the form of news or articles. A good website news article should at least include the following components:
Title
A website title should not be too short or too long. It should be written clearly and concisely and include the target keywords.
Keywords
Keywords are the words or phrases we target to make our articles/news easy to find on search engines. Ideally, keywords should also be included in the title, permalink, headline, and the body of the news.
Tags
Tags provide information about the relevance of the article or news piece to related topics. It is highly recommended that tags include the targeted keywords.
Internal Links
Internal links make it easier for users to navigate our website. Internal links should point to the main website or relevant news articles within our website.
External Links
External links should be included as references from other websites. There should be at least one external link in the news content.
The 6 points above are strategies for writing website content. These strategies are easy to implement once our website has installed the Yoast SEO plugin. Information on Unisma registration can be obtained from the Unisma PMB website.
