At least 5,000 participants took part in a fun walk and a series of activities organized by Universitas Islam Malang (Unisma) on Sunday morning (September 22). In addition to the fun walk, Unisma also held a heart-healthy exercise session, a bazaar, and free medical checkups. This series of activities marked closing of Unisma’s 38th “long-term” anniversary celebration, begun in last November.
“There were 70 anniversary events this year; moving forward, we will certainly continue to enhance various positive activities to contribute to the community,” said Unisma Rector Prof. Dr. Maskuri, M.Si

Thousands of participants, ranging from local residents to Unisma alumni, demonstrated their enthusiasm for fostering a shared academic and social atmosphere along with Unisma’s academic community. Their participation was exceptionally appreciated by Unisma through the provision of various facilities, including free medical treatment.
“We share with society, unite, and build our togetherness as part of our efforts to develop UNISMA. Essentially, this is part of bringing UNISMA closer to society’ he added.

Meanwhile, during these activities, Unisma distributed various attractive prizes to participants, ranging from motorcycles, mountain bikes, refrigerators, washing machines, to various other electronic appliances. Not only that, but the public could also enjoy various products from Unisma’s academic community, available at 22 booths along the front courtyard of Unisma
