The Postgraduate School of Universitas Islam Malang has intensified efforts to encourage students to produce international scientific publications by organizing an academic writing workshop. The international scientific writing workshop, attended by around 500 master’s and doctoral students, was held at the Abdurrahman Wahid Hall on the 7th floor.
Initiated by Unisma Postgraduate Program, the workshop served as a platform for students to deepen their understanding of internationally recognized academic writing techniques. Officially opened by Vice Rector I, Junaidi Mistar, the event marked an important step for students seeking international recognition through their scholarly work.
In his remarks, Junaidi Mistar, representing the rector who was unable to attend, emphasized the importance of improving the quality of student research to support university’s vision of becoming a competitive and globally recognized center of higher education. “We believe that Unisma students have great potential to compete on the international stage, and this workshop is an important step toward realizing that goal,” he said.
